BHB participated in the Health Camp organized by Gulf Petro Chem at Hisar for 400 locals in the rural area. The health camp included Bone density test, ECG test, Cardiologist, pediatric, Physiologist.

World Heart Day Celebrations – 2012

The World Heart Day Celebrations of 2012 saw BHB along with Apollo Hospitals enter into a long-term partnership with the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The cadets took the pledge in a ceremony at the NCC Auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Prathap C Reddy and the Director General of NCC.

The aim of this collaboration was to not only to make the cadets  aware of the BHB mission bit also to encourage them to spread the message of heart health amongst the youth of the society. BHB educated and trained the cadets by providing first aid skills, especially in cardiac emergencies. 600 NCC cadets were given basic life support training in October 2013.

NCC Joins Billion Hearts Beating Campaign

Founders Day

On the 5th of February 2011, BHB celebrated the birthday of the Apollo Hospitals Chairman,
Dr Prathap C Reddy. The celebration was a special event where all the employees of Apollo Hospitals took the pledge for a healthy heart.

3rd Apollo Dil Ki Daud – 2012

On 7th October 2012, BHB organized the ‘Apollo Dil Ki Daud’ for the third time in a row. More than 2000 people participated, including  RWAs, Corporates, Embassies, Colleges, Schools as well as the Apollo Hospitals staff and senior consultants. The marathon helped raise awareness, especially in the media, about the importance of heart health.

Happy Heart Fest Celebrations at Chennai – 2011

Happy Heart Fest Celebration began in Chennai in 2011 to kick off the nationwide celebration of heart health. Celebrities from different walks of life came forward to lend their active support to the festival, by participating in activities and events across country to celebrate the festival. Each of the Simple 5 Solutions was adopted by one celebrity crusader to make one billion Indians aware of them as simple measures to keep their heart healthy.

Happy Heart Fest Celebrations at Delhi – 2011

The HHF celebration made its way to Delhi where celebrities advocated the BHB message. The high point of the celebration was when BHB set a new record with the World’s largest ashtray at New Delhi.

Happy Heart Fest Celebrations at Hyderabad – 2011

The Hyderabad celebration saw the top five musicians of the country come together to create the Calm Song, a soothing number to help beat stress, that was unveiled against the Charminar monument, which was lit-up in red light.
