The Billion Hearts Beating Foundation is a not-for-profit organization started with the objective of providing preventive healthcare and health awareness across India, especially to marginalized communities.
The foundation runs health programmers for the elderly in senior care homes that offer their services free of cost, in various parts of India. The foundation also works in the field of health education, offering basic life support (BLS) training to those in public service. It conducts health camps free of cost in areas that have limited access to healthcare.
Any donor is free to visit the Billion Hearts Beating Foundation office, as well as our stakeholders, with prior permission. All our financial records are audited regularly and made public.
We are a Non-Profit Organization. On average, 75% of the money raised by Billion Hearts Beating Foundation goes towards planning and implementing our program work and 25% goes towards marketing and administration.
All donations to the Billion Hearts Beating Foundation are 50% exempt from tax under section 80G in India.
